Local drag superstar Ruby Chopstix is the subject of an upcoming short documentary by Quan Luong, “Becoming Ruby”. The film will be premiering in Toronto as part of the Hot Docs Festival on April 30th, but Winnipeg fans can catch it in May as part of the FascinAsian Film Festival (with screenings in Calgary and Edmonton as well)
